Background
Hydro-M2AC is a service company specializing in the sale, repair and installation of professional and consumer cleaning equipment. Based in the Nantes region, it supports local companies, particularly in equipping wash centers and on-site cleaning solutions.
The company went online with the creation of three e-commerce sites using Prestashop. The limitations of its ERP system (EBP) for managing product information quickly became apparent. The multiplication of fields to be filled in, the lack of centralization, and the manual management of images meant that putting products online was time-consuming, tedious and unscalable.
Faced with these obstacles, Hydro-M2AC made the strategic decision to adopt Quable PIM, in order to centralize its product data, gain in efficiency and structure its distribution processes.
The issues
Products brought online too slowly
The average time taken to publish an item sheet was 48 hours, between searching for information, taking photos and updating data. As the sole digital manager for this area, the Digital Manager had to find a solution to automate the process and make it more reliable.
Non-collaborative manual management
Requests for product creation arrived by e-mail or verbally, with no history or traceability. The lack of structure made collaboration difficult and slowed down the process of putting products online.
A compartmentalized technical stack
The ERP was not designed to centralize product data. So we needed a tool capable of interfacing with EBP, Prestashop and, eventually, future B2B platforms or marketplaces.
Solutions from PIM Quable
Quable has accelerated Hydro-M2AC's business across all channels, optimized product management and marketing support, with a unified platform and increased efficiency.
A faster online process
Thanks to Quable, Hydro-M2AC went from 1,000 to 7,000 products online in just one year. CSV import, completion rates and data structuring have made it possible to industrialize product uploads while maintaining information quality.
Simplified, centralized collaboration
With the implementation of workflows, tags and user rights, requests for new products are now structured in the PIM. Each contribution is logged, validated and tracked, reinforcing collaboration between digital and the field.
Seamless integration into existing ecosystems
Integration with the existing stack (ERP and Prestashop) has been simplified thanks to the APIs and webservices already in place. Quable has positioned itself as the central brick for cold data, while ERP continues to manage hot data.
