The deployment time depends of course on the nature of the PIM project itself.
Once the analysis of the needs and the PIM setup has been done, the solution itself is configured. On average, it takes 3 to 6 months before PIM is 100% operational.
In general, all the staff who are working with your products, and who contribute to data enrichment. This may include product managers, e-commerce managers, category managers, IS managers, database managers, marketing managers, R&D staff and staff working in the photo studio.
Several steps are required before the PIM can be deployed. The goal is to list the needs of future users of the platform and adapt the solution to your processes. Among other things, we will discuss the upstream product information collection flows, the stages of the product sheet information enrichment process, the various product information distribution channels, and the project schedule.
The information which feeds into the PIM includes all the information about your newly created products in brut format. This data can come from databases such as ERP, CRM, custom databases or excel files...These feeds can be of different formats: .csv, .xml, .png, .jpg.
