Interview Focus Partner Integrator PIM/DAM Zen'To

When a customer wants to implement our PIM (Product Information Management) and DAM (Digital Asset Management) solution, we can rely on our integrator partners for the deployment. For 2 years, Quable has been working with Zen'To to enable advertisers to offer a unified omnichannel experience to their customers. Interview with Thierry Rudowski, CEO of Zen'To.

Can you introduce us to Zen'to?

Zen'To is a digital agency. We mainly work with retailers and develop applications for all their distribution channels: historically for in-store applications, then e-commerce and mobile applications, and today we offer all the commercial applications of Front. We work with various sectors such as the optical industry with Afflelou, the retail industry with Carrefour, and the beauty/hairdressing industry with the Provalliance group.

What is the purpose of the partnership with Quable?

Quable provides the solution PIM/DAM solution and ensures its operation as well as the deployment of new functionalities, while we take care of its integration at the customer's site.

In concrete terms, we are involved from the pre-sales stage. Quable is positioned as a technology provider and solution expert.

Zen'to takes care, through a team of experts trained in PIM and DAM, of the implementation of the tool in 3 phases:

  • A design and modelling phase, in which we define the client's specificities and precise needs,
  • Design and development of interfaces according to the channels to be connected (e-commerce, cash register, ERP, etc.),
  • Deployment and integration into the IS (Information System) as well as team training.

After the deployments, we remain involved through the support and maintenance of all developments. We measure customer satisfaction through feedback, productivity improvement and solution usage.

Why did you choose Quable and its PIM as your exclusive partner?

First of all, we liked the fact that Quable is a challenger. It is a team with real agility, able to adapt quickly and propose rapid changes.

"On the product side, Quable offers a reliable solution. The tool is intuitive and we appreciate the full SaaS model which is not offered by other publishers.

Lastly, our relationship is based on the human element - we got on well right away - and a fair distribution of roles. Our partnership is balanced because each of us is an expert in his or her own field, without overstepping the boundaries of the other. The association between our two human-sized structures allows us to remain flexible in order to meet our clients' needs.

Can you tell us more about the projects carried out during these two years?

The implementation of a PIM is often the first brick in a larger omnichannel project project whose objective is to offer a unified experience and thus fluidify the customer's journey.

We have had two landmark projects:

For de Neuville, the implementation of the PIM has saved time in managing the product catalogue, distributing projects and reducing the risk of errors. Moreover, the brand is currently redesigning its e-commerce site. The installation of Quable's PIM served as a pilot within the Savencia group;

At Kidiliz, the PIM has also enabled us to gain in productivity but also to save time on the exchange of flows with the marketplaces, in particular Zalando_._

We have also deployed the PIM from Quable at StokomaniSisley and are in the process of integrating it with many other customers.

Do you have a story about your partnership with Quable?

Our collaboration started with a slight mishap! A client who had chosen Quable put us in touch with each other and we started working together. Unfortunately, the project did not materialise. But then we bounced back and all subsequent actions were successful.

How do you see the future of this collaboration?

We are currently working on R&D projects together, in particular on the development of a portal brick. Our teams are working together more and more on a daily basis on substantive issues.

PIM/DAM is an important part of Zen'To's development strategy and it is essential for Quable to be able to count on a reliable integrator partner. Of course, we want to continue on this path and succeed in converting more and more customers to PIM!
