Unlike a DMP (Data Management Platform), a CDP focuses on individual, persistent data, enabling the creation of detailed, real-time customer profiles.
CDPs are essential for personalized marketing, enabling audiences to be segmented, targeted campaigns to be automated and the customer journey to be analyzed. They are often integrated with other tools (DXP, CRM) to provide a 360° view of the customer.
