Review of 2018 Quable

As January draws to a close, everyday life returns to normal. The start of the year is a busy time for everyone, with everyone returning to the office after the holidays, setting goals for the year ahead and making good personal resolutions! At Quable, rather than resolutions, we've taken stock of what happened in 2018. And all we can say is that we are proud of how far we have come! A look back at the highlights of our year 2018.

Business is great business

Creating a company is a great adventure. Still, it has to be sustainable! 2017 was the year of scalability. In 2018, Quable has further strengthened its presence on the market, thanks in particular to a new fundraising of €2.5M and 32 new brands that have become users of our PIM (Product Information Management) solution.. It is also 11 new solution partners and 18 new recruits who joined us during the year.

It's fair to say that our teams have not been idle to create these successes: they were present at 7 BtoB events (trade fairs, conferences, workshops, etc.) and 3 Business Tours from the United States to Italy and Spain, which generated 22 press releases. And this is just the beginning.

But beyond the business figures that speak for themselves, it is also the satisfaction of seeing that our model works and that our tool convinces the market players!

An increasingly mature product

Our PIM is a bit like our precious. We pamper it, we almost worship it but the cinematographic metaphor stops here because our PIM, we share it with many users who allow us to continue to make it evolve.

In 2018, the Product team released 2 new major versions of PIM, 6 major releases and 19 minor releases. So the roadmap has been busy and we plan to keep it that way, because a product that evolves is a product that improves!

These developments have led to numerous UX optimisations, the creation of better connectivity and the assurance of greater security and performance. Each new implementation is a challenge that we take up with the desire to provide our customers with an ever more simple, high-performance and reliable tool.

A pampered team

What would Quable be without its team? In 2018, we have redoubled our efforts to provide our teams with a pleasant working environment, new services and a unique atmosphere.

It started with the recruitment of our Happiness Manager Caroline, just one year ago. New partnerships have been formed to make the daily lives of our employees easier and more enjoyable:

  • Delicorner, the 'happiness at work dispenser' that delivers snacks and fruit;
  • Lunchr, which has replaced old school luncheon vouchers with a convenient Mastercard;
  • Payfit, which allows our employees to access their pay slips and manage their holidays;
  • A new mutual insurance plan covered at 100% by Quable.

In terms of sharing, we had the opportunity to organise a barbecue in our garden to bring together clients and partners, 2 team seminars to take stock of the situation together in a calm environment and around a hundred afterworks and wild dinners. In other words, fun and conviviality one evening out of three on average during the year!

Finally, our teams have moved to new premises in the heart of the Sainte Marthe district, towards Belleville/Goncourt... and rumour has it that they are delighted with it.

Happy employees are not only 30% more productive, they are also men and women who are convinced and better able to convey our values to our customers and partners.

Conclusion

To say that 2018 was another busy year for Quable is an understatement, and what a great year it was! While it's beneficial to look back at how far we've come, it's also important to look forward and draw concrete goals to keep moving forward. In 2019, Quable has set ambitious new goals. We will strengthen our partner network to offer our customers an ever more complete experience. We will further strengthen our PIM solution so that it is as mature as possible to make the work of marketing teams even easier. Finally, and most importantly, we will conquer the world! With 5 years of experience in France, Quable is opening up to the international market and wants to expand into new markets. So, let's meet in a year to take stock of this new adventure?
