This Sunday, 26 March, the Quable team PIM will take part in the Soli’run, the race against poor housing organised by Habitat et Humanisme Île-de-France and several Rotary Clubs, and will support the ‘La Maison qui déménage!’ project, devised by the start-up Univers&Conseils.
Because solidarity and environmental protection are values we hold dear, we have decided this year to support an innovative project aimed at helping people in need get back on their feet: ‘La Maison qui déménage!’
The idea is to build temporary homes that are entirely eco-designed, modular, mobile and leave no footprint on the land or the environment, so that people living in substandard accommodation can find a way to reintegrate into society whilst waiting to access permanent housing.
And it’s by running that we’ll be sealing our commitment! The whole team will be lacing up their running shoes this weekend; some will run 10km or 6km, whilst others will walk 4km. Every kilometre covered will be converted into a donation to enable Habitat et Humanisme to set up two new homes in Malakoff. We’ll be heading to the heart of the Bois de Boulogne to burn off some energy, more motivated than ever to lend a hand to ‘La Maison qui déménage!’
